This course offers an overview of foreclosures, short sales, REOs, and auctions. The foreclosures section will provide licensees information regarding judicial and nonjudicial foreclosure availability, the right of redemption, and foreclosure timelines for the State of Hawaii. Licensees will learn how to identify short sale properties, how to market a short sale listing, as well as understanding short sale contracts. The course will also cover broker and client auction procedures and the basics to purchasing lender-owned (REO) properties.
