This course is designed to inform the agent about mortgages, loans and liens. Financing is paramount when purchasing real property in Hawaii, therefore, the licensee should know financing terms, various types of loans and new laws that affect financing and mortgages. This course defines frequently misused terms and mortgage and financing vocabulary. Then loans are addressed and licensee questions are answered regarding mortgages, loans and financing. The course also provides a financing problem. Finally, liens are addressed  since a mortgage creates a lien and questions are answered regarding liens. This course is designed to provide general knowledge, NOT legal advice to the licensee, such that the licensee is more familiar with mortgages, loans and liens. Therefore, the agent can better assist her client in procuring financing.
