GET REAL: MANAGE/MISMANAGE!

The core course is divided into two parts (Part A and Part B). Each part is further divided into two sections. The first section covers the legal updates for the current year, and the second covers one or more topics of current interest or importance to real estate licensees as determined by the Commission.

Course Objectives

• Identify real estate-related legislation enacted in 2026 that affects licensee practice.
• Apply the Residential Landlord–Tenant Code in alignment with current licensing statutes and rules to ensure compliance, including requirements for security deposits and trust accounts.
• Assess the applicability of federal and state laws in real estate transactions, including commercial transactions, and distinguish the roles of property managers and resident managers in condominium and community associations.
